Yerba Buena Discos is proud to announce its next release, The Definition by DNA. DNA is a partnership between YBD stalwart Daniel J and Bay Area MC Anderson Ray ( V.E.R.A. Clique)
The Definition is something new for Yerba Buena Discos, a primarily downtempo release.
The original mix is futuristic hip-hop, with an instrumental to show off Dan’s next-school beats.
Uneaq give us more downtempo mixes, chopping Anderson’s rap over a mix of ultramodern music and classic-style beats.
San Francisco space disco hero Tal M. Klein gives us downtempo, dubbed-out acid in his headwarping remix.
Jackin’ house mainstay Nonfiction gives us the only house treatment of the package, with his sizzling Chicago-style thumper.
Finally, YBD frontman Homero Espinosa gives us a midtempo alternative-style new-disco mix that pairs retro 80’s synths with 90’s-era filtered chords.

Lots of good mixes!

I think I like the Nonfiction remix. Homero‘s mix is nice.
Charles Spencer
Wicked Tal M Klein Remix!
George Fotiadis of Basement Freaks
Definitely playing Tal‘s mix – very wobbly!
Sean Johnston of Hardway Bros
Loving Uneaq Instrumental. Jose NonFiction drops the jam hard on his house mix, and the production of Homero‘s mix is the BIZ! Great variety all around.
Thomas White of Natural Rhythm
Cool stuff, looking forward to hearing the entirety of both Tal‘s and Homero‘s mixes.

Loving The Definition (Homero Espinosa Remix).

THE NONFICTION REMIX IS THE BIZNESS.
J.A.M.O.N.Great release!
YBD up to their usual quest for diversity in their releases and in touch with the contemporary styles of global dance music are back with a package that has a lil’ something for everyone ranging from grimey hip hop to trippy disco and jackin’ house. My personal favorite is the Homero Espinosa remix because it takes me back to when I was a 15 year-old kid listening to french house and disco for the first time. The production is immaculate in all mixes as usual. Full support on this excellent EP. Good music..
